City and county officials, law enforcement and community members came together Wednesday for a first-of-its-kind immigration forum hosted by Leon County Indivisible.
A full room of community members gathered to hear from a panel of elected officials and local leaders. Organizers with Leon County Indivisible say the goal of the forum was to bring people together and start open conversations about what kind of immigration enforcement has or hasn’t been happening in our city.
Leon County Indivisible is set to host a first-of-its-kind forum next week to present the Tallahassee community with “factual information” about what kind of immigration enforcement has or hasn’t occurred in Florida’s Capital City, according to the organization’s founder, Cheryl Gratt.
The City of Tallahassee held its Annual Retreat on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Typically, the retreat provides an opportunity for City leadership to review the Strategic Plan successes and to discuss planned projects and activities for the upcoming year.
This year, the Police Department’s presentation included three types of Public Safety Cameras in use, including License Plate Readers (LPRs) such as those supplied by Flock Safety.
