To help organize our efforts, the following Working Groups have been proposed. Please indicate if you would like to participate in one or more of these groups.

Communication/Collaboration
  • Social media maintenance
  • Develop and maintain ways to commuicate with other organizations in the community
  • Circulate “action alerts”
  • Conversation work (reaching across the aisle)
  • Word/concept/quote of the day/week
  • Media – press releases, TV, radio
Event planning
  • Plan the variety of events for community engagement (town halls, debates, speakers, protests, fund raisers, expos, jamorees, etc.)
  • Set up and clean up the events (and/or solicit for volunteers)
  • Evaluate the events
Political engagement
  • Canvassing
  • Phone banking
  • Voter registration
  • Signs for protests, parade, gallery
  • Research – gathering information, newspotting, candidate information – and report to the group and to the website/social media committee
