Power Half Hour: Lunchtime Action to Stop the Takeover of Public Schools

Join fellow concerned parents and community members live for Thursday Lunchtime Zoom Power Half Hours for 30 minutes of advocacy.
You’ll be provided a brief training, talking points and a call script and phone numbers for key legislators.
Make your calls in real time with other advocates to help stop the spread of the corporate takeover of our schools.
· Under the new SBOE Co-Location Rules (Rule 6A-1.0998271), the so-called Schools of Hope law is mutating into a full-blown corporate takeover mechanism of our neighborhood schools. These corporations are already targeting neighborhood public schools, seizing public school buildings rent-free. (link to learn more somewhere in here)
· This rule further weakens our neighborhood schools, stripping control from parents and school boards, and draining much needed funding and resources our children need.
